Privacy Policy
We never sell your personal information, and we never will.
This Privacy Policy explains how Wanderwell International ("Wanderwell," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.wanderwellinternational.com, contact us, book travel with us, or join our text or email programs. Wanderwell is an independent travel advisory and a member of Virtuoso, operating under the TravelExperts host agency.
By using our website or services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to plan your travel and stay in touch with you.
Contact details: name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number.
Travel details: dates of birth, passport and visa information, Known Traveler and loyalty program numbers, seating, dietary, accessibility, and medical needs you choose to share, and travel preferences.
Payment details: card or bank information needed to pay suppliers or our fees. Payments are processed by the supplier or a secure payment processor.
Traveling companions: details you provide about others in your party, including children. You confirm you have permission to share them.
Website data: basic technical information such as browser type, pages visited, and general location, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
Communications: messages, emails, and texts you send us.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Plan, book, and manage your travel.
Communicate with you about your trips, questions, and requests.
Send texts and emails you have agreed to receive.
Process payments and keep accurate business records.
Improve our website and services.
Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
3. Text Messaging (SMS)
We send text messages only to people who have opted in. You can opt in by checking the consent box on our forms, by replying YES to our confirmation text, or by giving us written consent. Consent is never required to book travel with us.
Messages may include trip updates, itinerary reminders, appointment reminders, and travel information, and travel specials. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories listed in this Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We share mobile numbers only with the messaging service providers that deliver our texts, such as Twilio, TravelJoy, or Mailchimp, and only for that purpose.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at [EMAIL] or [PHONE]. See our Terms and Conditions for full program terms.
4. Email
We send informational and promotional emails only to people who have signed up or asked to hear from us. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop messages about trips you have already booked.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these cases:
Travel suppliers: airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and insurers need your details to deliver the travel you book. Their own privacy policies govern how they use it.
Our host agency and partners: TravelExperts and Virtuoso, as needed to process bookings, commissions, and traveler benefits.
Service providers: companies that help us run our business, such as booking, email, texting, accounting, and payment tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Legal reasons: when required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or harm.
Business transfer: if Wanderwell is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this same Policy.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described above, as stated in Section 3.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure tools and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep information as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. We then delete it or store it securely.
8. Your Choices
You may ask us to see, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing support@wanderwellinternational.com. You may opt out of texts by replying STOP and out of emails by clicking unsubscribe. Some information must be kept for legal or accounting reasons. If your state gives you additional privacy rights, contact us and we will honor them.
9. Children
Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We collect information about minors only from a parent or guardian, and only to book their travel.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Policy.
